Mike Elliott

Mike is an experienced senior project manager and information security professional with over 25 years experience delivering enterprise IT projects. Mike's initial focus, as a consultant, was on managing teams to build complex front-end systems for financial clients including clients such as Merril Lynch and Goldman Sachs and major telecommunications companies such as Vodafone and BT.

In the early nineties, Mike was part of the respected AtomicTangerine management team which joined BSG and in his three years there, was instrumental in developing a nascent software development capability to deliver enterprise Java projects and winning big-ticket projects - primarily in the online publishing sector. Mike then used this platform to take on more senior programme management roles for global online businesses such as Opodo, Expedia and Sportingbet, where he delivered the largest IT project in the company's history; a multi-million pound DR project. Whilst at Opodo, Mike was responsible for turning around a major company project involving over 100 staff in five locations. At Expedia, Mike took on a newly-created portfolio management position in one of the most successful development groups within the entire organisation and helped to drive high-performance throughout the group in terms of project quality and on-time delivery.

Mike co-founded Dealflo in 2011 and drove the evolution of the enterprise platform/product to service over 40 international financial services clients, operating in multiple territories and jurisdictions.  He helped build the team from 2 to 100 people in Europe, North America, Eastern Europe and Asia and helped to sell the company to OneSpan (formerly Vasco Security) in 2018.

Mike's has worked across all major Internet technologies and has a deep background in both software delivery and mission-critical infrastructure projects. He has managed project and operations teams across multiple distributed locations and more recently, has enjoyed leading information security teams in different organisations focusing on compliance (including ISO27001 and PCI-DSS) and developing an enterprise-class security operations team and building a security programme.
